WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE?
In Acupuncture, meridians along the body are stimulated by needling acupuncture points to disperse any blockages to restore the body’s own health and balance. Generally, a treatment course consists of 6-10 visits, although the number of treatments varies with different conditions and individuals. Some patients notice an immediate improvement upon the first treatment, whereas others may not notice a change until the sixth or seventh treatment. The acupuncture needles are hair-thin, pre-packaged, sterilized and disposable.
